Love WilCo Missions Weekend

Looking for a serving experience where the whole family can participate? Join us for our Love WilCo Missions Weekend! All ages are welcome and encouraged. This special weekend is all about serving together, sharing meals, and making a difference in our community.

Friday - Dinner with or for a Neighbor
5:30–7:00 PM
Invite a neighbor or co-worker to dinner in your home on Friday night. Join efforts with another friend or your community group for this event. 

Saturday - Serve Day
9:00 AM–1:00 PM

Sunday - Church at TBF
(8:00am, 9:15am, 10:45am, 12:15pm)
Invite a guest and sit with them for one of our services this weekend! 

2026 Scotland Mission Trip
June 27-July 6th
Estimated cost $3200
We are excited to head to Scotland! TBF is teaming up with 20Schemes, an incredible organization working in Scotland’s urban housing schemes. These communities are full of life and history, yet they face significant hardships. 20Schemes meets these needs by planting churches and empowering local believers to lead their communities toward faith in Jesus. You can be part of this story! We’re joining their Annual Holiday Club to host a week of games, crafts, and Bible stories for local children. If you love working with kids and want to share the light of the gospel, we’d love to have you on our team.

Kenya: August 1-8th

We are excited to continue partnership with the GALE family working in Kenya! Their engagement with the community involves sports outreach, secondary education, teacher development, theological training, and ministry to unreached people groups.

This August will be our fifth team trip to assist the GALE family in ministry. On this trip we will offer two different boys basketball clinics . We are looking for people who have relevant interest and experience in order to coach each clinic attendee skills and tricks that will further their basketball skills. You will also be encouraged to teach devotionals, share your testimony and bring encouragement to each player. God is so good and it’s incredible to see his work all over the world. We look forward to connecting with our Kenya partnership team again in August. Would you want to join us?

Costa Rica Young Adult (18-25yr) Mission Trip
August 1-8th
Estimated Cost: $1,450
Pastor Manuel Salas will be welcoming TBF to his church, Casa Vida. We will be helping the local high school get ready for the beginning of the school year with some maintenance and projects at the school.
This trip will provide you with the opportunity to have personal growth in sharing the Gospel, connecting with others in a different culture, and experiencing all God has for you in reaching the nations.  

Scotland : September 28-October 5th
Estimated Cost: $2450.00
Join us as we help our mission partner, 20 Schemes, put on their "Weekender Conference". This conference is a gathering for all 17 Scheme leaders to gather together for a time of incredible teaching, powerful worship and community, with other Gospel Workers. You will be helping serve the pastors, and church staff - setting up registration and merch tables, childcare, cleaning and prep, so they will be able to have a rewarding weekend conference experience. Your mission will be helping with hospitality, and many other operational needs during the weekend conference. If you have a love for children and a heart for serving behind the scene, then this is a great trip for you! If you are interested or have more questions, let me know.

 
Students: Do you need some community service hours for school?
We have an ongoing need for set up/ tear down at TBF, and we also have 12 community partners that could use some help each week. Please reach out to Stephanie Davis 615-604-7390.

Local Missions Partners

Save One
Save One is a post abortion healing ministry. This 10 week class / ministry walks alongside men and women who are carrying shame, guilt or regret from a past abortion. Strictly confidential. Contact Stacey White via email or text 615-390-0780, or white.stacey3@gmail.com. Classes will be held in January and in the fall of 2026.

The Bridge House
Their mission is to lead youth out of homelessness and empower them to live a life that will change a life. They do this by providing housing for children in DCS custody, supporting young adults aging out of foster care, and wrapping around foster, adoptive, and biological families. Through our TBF volunteers will help provide meals for the residents, assist in cleaning and house needs, provide some funding for resources and can have quality time with some residents. Some volunteer efforts require additional training and back ground checks due to the sensitivity of the ministry.

The Pregnancy Care Center
The Pregnancy Care Center Empowers individuals to make life-affirming decisions through education, counseling, and compassionate care, based on the ministry of Jesus Christ. TBF volunteers will get training through the PCC in a variety of positions. Counseling, Boutique assistance, help with landscaping, become a church liason, counseling and financial support. Some volunteer efforts require additional training and back ground checks due to the sensitivity of the ministry.

Rest Stop Ministries
Rest Stop Ministries is a nonprofit 501c3 faith-based organization dedicated to comprehensively restoring female survivors of domestic sex trafficking.  They follow a housing-first model and provide holistic survivor-centered, trauma-informed care in a long-term residential community. Compassionate Hands
Through a network of churches they provide winter shelter to individuals experiencing homelessness. Hundreds of compassionate hands are working to provide opportunities to expand their services and provide year-round support for neighbors in need. TBF volunteers can help in providing meals for residents, attending bible study with residents and building relationships. In the winter months they are in need of night hosts. Sam Houston Elementary / Everyone's Wilson
The Gospel compels us to see every neighbor as fellow Image-bearers possessing inherent value and worth. They have the outlandish dream that every person in our community can experience the life God created them to live, and then join in Jesus’ kingdom work to produce spiritual and social transformation in the community.

Through Everyone's Wilson, we have the opportunity to serve locally with the students at Sam Houston Elementary. This includes Mentoring Students, reading programs, proctoring, volunteering for field day, landscaping and other occasional projects.
